Description
Built for Speed. Still Tough.
PETG HF Peanut Brown — Bambu’s High-Speed PETG
PETG HF Peanut Brown is Bambu Lab’s PETG designed specifically for high-speed printing, so it runs at roughly double the speed of standard PETG without sacrificing strength.
Because it also carries a new matte finish, it smooths out the uneven gloss that speed changes can cause on other PETG filaments, so results stay consistent from start to finish.
Built for High-Speed Printing
Since it’s engineered specifically for speed, it prints at roughly double the pace of standard PETG.
New Matte Finish
Because the matte surface evens out gloss variation across speed changes, prints look consistent throughout.
Stronger and Tougher Than PLA
It holds up to impacts and stress better than PLA, so it suits durable, long-lasting parts.
Less Oozing and Clumping
Since it addresses common PETG printing issues directly, it gives smoother, more reliable results.
Why “HF” Means High Flow
Engineered for Faster Printing
Standard PETG typically needs slower print speeds to avoid stringing, oozing, and inconsistent surface quality. PETG HF is different: because it’s formulated specifically to handle higher flow rates, it prints reliably at roughly double the speed of standard PETG while still resisting those same issues.
So if you’re printing on a fast Bambu machine and want PETG’s strength and outdoor durability without slowing your whole workflow down, this is the option built for that.
Best Uses for PETG HF Peanut Brown
Since it combines speed, strength, and outdoor resistance, it suits both fast production runs and durable functional parts.
Printing and Drying Tips
Recommended Temperatures
- Nozzle temperature: 230–270°C
- Bed temperature: 65–75°C
Drying Recommendations
Dry it out before use for higher print quality. Since it needs to stay moisture-free during printing — especially on longer jobs over 6 hours — keeping it dry throughout matters as much as drying it beforehand.
- 65°C for 8 hours in a blast drying oven
- 75–85°C for 12 hours on an X1 Series heatbed

PETG HF Peanut Brown FAQ
How is PETG HF different from PETG Basic?
PETG HF is built specifically for high-speed printing and has a matte finish, while PETG Basic is a standard structural, outdoor-durable PETG without the same speed optimisation. Both are strong and outdoor-resistant, but HF is the one to reach for when print speed matters most.
How much faster is PETG HF than standard PETG?
It prints at roughly double the speed of standard PETG, since it’s formulated specifically to handle higher flow rates without the usual stringing or oozing issues.
Is it compatible with the AMS?
Yes, it’s compatible with both AMS and AMS lite, with RFID handling automatic material recognition.
Can I use it for outdoor projects?
Yes. Because it resists water, UV, and temperature well, it suits outdoor items like flower pots, bird cages, and watering cans.
Do I need to dry it before printing?
Yes, drying beforehand is recommended, and it’s also worth keeping it moisture-free during longer print jobs over 6 hours, since that affects quality just as much as pre-drying does.
Is PETG HF Peanut Brown available in Cyprus?
Yes, The 3D Factory stocks it, since we’re Cyprus’s official Bambu Lab reseller and deliver across the island.
