Description

AESUB Violet 3D Scanning Spray – Long-Duration Scan Spray

AESUB Violet is a professional 3D scanning spray designed for modern optical metrology and high-precision 3D digitisation. The spray forms a thin matte coating that eliminates reflections and improves the ability of scanners to capture accurate geometry.

Unlike conventional matting sprays, AESUB Violet is self-evaporating. The coating disappears automatically after several hours, eliminating the need for manual cleaning after the scanning process.

This property significantly improves efficiency during long scanning sessions and measurement campaigns.

Designed for Long Scanning Sessions

AESUB Violet provides a longer scan time compared to standard scanning sprays. The coating remains stable for approximately 2 to 6 hours, making it ideal for large projects or extended scanning workflows.

This is particularly beneficial when scanning:

  • Large industrial components
  • Automotive parts
  • Complex mechanical assemblies
  • Cultural heritage objects
  • Architectural elements

Because the coating lasts longer, users can scan multiple components without reapplying the spray.

Self-Evaporating Formula

AESUB Violet uses a sublimating formulation that gradually evaporates after scanning. As a result, no residue remains on the scanned object.

This eliminates the need for cleaning components or measurement environments, which saves time and reduces workflow interruptions.

Additionally, the pigment-free formulation prevents contamination in sensitive environments such as laboratories, production facilities or research laboratories.

Uniform Coating for Accurate Scanning

When applied correctly, AESUB Violet creates a homogeneous matte coating with a thickness between 4 and 8 microns. This ultra-thin layer improves scan contrast without affecting dimensional accuracy.

The spray therefore provides optimal conditions for optical scanning systems including structured-light and laser 3D scanners.
