Description

PrimaSelect PLA (polylactic acid)

Filaments in Cyprus – PLA Filament

PrimaCreator’s Chameleon filament is a unique 3D printing material that offers a stunning dual-colour effect, with the print appearing to change colour as it turns and reflects light. Made up of two strands of filament, Chameleon is compatible with BuildTak, PEI, or glass plates coated with adhesive spray or PrimaFIX.

It’s also non-toxic, odourless, and easy to use thanks to its thermal characteristics, making it a popular choice for 3D printing enthusiasts. As a PLA-based filament, it’s also environmentally friendly, as it’s made from lactic acid that’s fermented from crops like corn. The filament comes on a transparent spool, allowing users to easily see how much filament is left. For best results, we recommend a print temperature of 205-225°C, and a heated build platform is optional but can be set to 35-60°C.

Material properties PrimaSELECT PLA Chameleon:

How to 3D print PLA Glossy

PLA Glossy is used the same way as regular PLA but in a slightly higher temperature range. Your 3D printing temperature should be between 210 – 230°C (typically 220°C). The filament should be used with a heated build plate for best results. Depending on the size of your 3D print, you can use it within a range of 20 – 90°C (typically 60°C). For regular 3D prints set the print speed to 40-60 mm/s.
