Description
4 Colours. One Machine. Under 45dB.
Centauri Carbon 2 Combo
The Centauri Carbon 2 Combo brings 4-colour CANVAS multicolour printing, a 500mm/s CoreXY motion system, and a 350°C hardened steel nozzle together inside a fully enclosed chamber — with automatic calibration, 31 sensors, and whisper-quiet operation under 45dB.
So whether it’s vibrant multicolour models, tough engineering parts, or a simple prototype that needs to be ready by morning, it covers the range without switching machines.
CANVAS 4-Colour Printing
Instant colour switching, RFID filament detection, auto refill, and tangle prevention — multicolour printing with no manual intervention.
350°C Nozzle, Wide Material Range
Since the hardened steel nozzle reaches 350°C, it handles everything from PLA to PC, PET, and carbon-fibre reinforced filaments.
Enclosed, Quiet, Family-Safe
Because the enclosed chamber has a smart grille for temperature control and the whole machine runs under 45dB, it’s safe and quiet enough for a home or classroom.
31 Smart Sensors
Clog detection, filament runout alerts, fan self-checks, and bed overheat protection — so the machine catches problems you might miss.
500mm/s CoreXY — Fast and Stable
Dual 4260 stepper motors independently drive the X and Y axes, while low-friction metal linear guide rods keep motion smooth at speed. Because the die-cast aluminium frame absorbs vibration rather than transmitting it, print quality stays high even at 500mm/s with 20,000mm/s² acceleration.
Active Vibration Compensation detects and counteracts unwanted resonance automatically, so speed doesn’t come at the cost of surface quality.
Material Versatility
Since the enclosed chamber, 350°C nozzle, 110°C heated bed, and all-around cooling system work together, the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo handles a wide range of materials from basic to engineering-grade — PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PC, PET, and carbon-fibre reinforced filaments.
TPU is natively supported by the standalone Centauri Carbon 2. For the Combo version, install the included Flexible Filament Adapter and disconnect the CANVAS cable before printing TPU. CANVAS is compatible with fibre-reinforced filaments, though regular inspection and replacement of feed parts is recommended during extended use due to abrasiveness.
Full-Auto Calibration — Load, Tap, Walk Away
Auto calibration, auto levelling, and auto Z-offset handle setup without manual intervention. Because 31 smart sensors continuously monitor each print (clog detection, filament runout, cutter status, exhaust grille, fan self-checks, bed overheat protection, and power-loss recovery), the machine catches issues before they ruin a print.

Centauri Carbon 2 Combo — FAQ
What’s the difference between the Carbon 2 Combo and the original Centauri Carbon?
The main upgrade is the CANVAS 4-colour multi-material system, which the original Centauri Carbon doesn’t have — gen 1 only runs a single spool. The Carbon 2 also adds improved sensors and refinements to the motion system.
How does it compare to a Bambu Lab P1S Combo?
Both are enclosed CoreXY multicolour printers in a similar price bracket. The Centauri Carbon 2 Combo offers a higher nozzle temperature (350°C vs 300°C), a 110°C heated bed, and a die-cast aluminium frame. The Bambu Lab P1S Combo has a more established ecosystem and a broader slicer community. Both are strong choices — the best pick depends on which ecosystem and feature set matters more to you.
What materials can it print?
PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PC, PET, and carbon-fibre reinforced filaments, since the 350°C nozzle and enclosed chamber handle engineering-grade materials as well as everyday PLA.
Is it quiet enough for home or classroom use?
Yes. It runs under 45dB in silent mode, which is roughly the level of a quiet library — designed specifically for shared spaces.
Can I print TPU with the Combo version?
Yes, but you need to install the included Flexible Filament Adapter and disconnect the CANVAS cable before printing TPU.
Is the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo available in Cyprus?
Yes, The 3D Factory stocks it locally and delivers across Cyprus — without the €30 surcharge and 14–21 workday delivery time from Elegoo’s own EU store.
