Who Actually Needs the Plus Model
The standard single-spool Space π covers most everyday drying needs well. The Plus model exists for two specific situations: multi-colour or multi-material printing, where two filaments need to stay dry at the same time for an AMS-fed job, and higher-volume workshops or classrooms, where a single dryer becomes a bottleneck when several people need dry filament at once.
Because each chamber heats independently, you’re not limited to drying the same material or temperature in both slots — one side can run a different preset from the other.

Compared with the standard single-spool Space π (110W single PTC heater, 3.7-inch screen), the Plus adds a second heating chamber, a larger 4-inch screen, and double the drying capacity.
Getting the Most From Your Dryer Plus
- Since each chamber heats independently, you can dry two different materials at two different temperatures at the same time
- The four filament outlet holes with PTFE pipes support feeding to two printers simultaneously, not just one
- Use the correct preset per chamber where available, rather than one temperature for both spools
- After drying, seal each spool separately with desiccant if you’re not printing from it immediately

The standard model holds one 1kg spool with a single 110W PTC heater and a 3.7-inch screen. The Plus holds two 1kg spools with double PTC heaters (one per chamber) and a larger 4-inch screen.
Can I dry two different materials at the same time?
Yes. Since each chamber heats independently, you can run a different preset or temperature in each side.
Can I feed both printers from this dryer at once?
Yes. It includes four filament outlet holes with PTFE pipes, so it can support two printers printing simultaneously while both spools stay dry.
Do I need the Plus model, or is the standard one enough?

Is it compatible with filament from other brands?
Yes. It works on any 1.75mm or 2.85mm spool that fits inside it, regardless of brand.
