Unique Glow in Low Light Conditions

Even with its special glowing effect, PLA Glow Blue maintains the ease-of-use you expect from standard PLA. It delivers excellent layer adhesion, minimal warping, and clean detail, making it ideal for both hobbyists and professionals.

This version of Bambu Lab PLA Glow comes in a vibrant blue that glows brilliantly in the dark after exposure to UV or sunlight. It recharges in just a couple of hours and can be recharged repeatedly without losing print quality.

*It is not recommended to print Bambu PLA Glow and other glow-in-the-dark PLA filaments with AMS Lite. These filaments, being hard and rough, may cause feeding failures due to substantial feeding resistance.

With fast shipping across Cyprus, this is the ideal filament for those looking to push their creativity — day or night.

• Drying conditions: 55℃ for 8 hrs. Store in a dry environment after use. Dry before use if the material absorbs moisture. For more details please refer to: Filament drying instructions on WIKI.

• Printing with a 0.2 mm nozzle is not recommended; instead, it is advised to use a 0.4 mm nozzle for optimal results.

• The model’s luminous intensity diminishes over time, but exposure to ultraviolet or sunlight for a brief period (approximately 2 hours) can rejuvenate its glow. However, prolonged or frequent irradiation may expedite PLA aging.

• Not suitable for AMS lite: Utilizing AMS lite may result in high feed resistance and an increased risk of feed failure. Consider alternative methods such as pre-use drying for better outcomes.

FAQ – Bambu Lab PLA Glow Blue Filament

Q: What makes PLA Glow Blue different from regular PLA?
A: This filament includes a luminous powder additive that glows in the dark after exposure to UV or sunlight. It performs like standard PLA but adds a unique glowing effect for creative applications.

Q: How long does the glow effect last?
A: The glow intensity gradually fades over time but can be recharged by placing the print under direct light for about 2 hours.

Q: Can I use this filament with any 3D printer?
A: Yes, as long as it supports 1.75 mm PLA filament and uses a hardened steel nozzle. Stainless steel nozzles and 0.2 mm nozzles are not compatible.

Q: Is it compatible with AMS or AMS Lite?
A: It is compatible with AMS, though it may cause faster wear due to the abrasive additive. It is not recommended for AMS Lite.

Q: What are the ideal print settings?
A: Nozzle temperature: 190–230°C, bed temperature: 35–45°C (with glue), and a print speed below 250 mm/s. Dry the filament before use at 55°C for 8 hours for best results.
